Sachsenring

Practice

We had 1 hour practice since it is the first time Mini Challenge visits Sachsenring. The track is hard to learn and most of the teams were here testing last week. But for me it was the first time, in the beginning I was 2,5 seconds after. But we worked good and adjusted the car for this track and slowly I learned it bit by bit. Considering my 50kg of ballast and that I have never driven here before this is a excellent result.

1. Hendrik Vieth 1:36.680
2. Steve Kirsch 1:36.739
3. Marcel Leipert 1:36.816
4. Daniel Haglöf 1:37.097
5. Daniel Kielwitz 1:37.155

Qualifying

My quali was ok, I don´t feel 100% with the cicuit yet but position 7 is ok. I will try to finish in the top 6 so I will be in the reversed grid for tomorrow.

1. Daniel Keilwitz 1:35.292
2. Steve Kirsch 1:35.394
3. Hari Proczyk 1:35.564
4. Fredrik Lestrup 1:35.573
5. Jürgen Schmarl 1:35.574
7. Daniel Haglöf 1:35.658

Race 1

In the first corner some cars spun in front of me and I got tangled up a bit, so I loose some positions. Also one of my competitors hit me hard in the side so my wheel got a bit damaged. I had huge trouble to find the speed after this and I could not advance. I finished 7th only one position away from the desireble 6th position. But anyhow I made some points and I was lucky that my race didn´t end on the first lap.

1. Daniel Keilwitz 30:35.261
2. Steve Kirsch +3.130
3. Fredrik Lestrup +6.125
4. Marcel Leipert +11.760
5. Oliver Metz +18.820
7. Daniel Haglöf +24.035

Race 2

My pace was alot better for me today, and I could go with the front group. I was lucky and two drivers go off so I ca finish in p 5. Im very happy this weekend as I extend my lead in the championship.

2. Marcel Leipert +0.709
3. Fredrik Lestrup +1.028
4. Daniel Keilwitz +1.855
