The start of the weekend was not good for "Maverick" suffering from a fever on Friday. - It's so typical that you get sick just when it's time for race. Says Daniel. After only an 8th position on the quali it felt anything but good. However, Daniels health was not the only problem, despite the engine switch the car was not running 100%. The team changed the remaining components of the engine in pure desperation. To Saturday the fever had gone down and Haglöf did a really good job and moved up to the super-important 6th place. -The engine ran as it should and I played it safe to secure 6th place and pole position for Sunday. Says Daniel. On Sunday, Daniel did a super race and led from start to finish to secure the 5th win of the season. -Totally awesome! After the bad start of the weekend this was the best result i could have hoped for. I pulled away in the championship so I now lead with 31 points with two race weekends remaining. Daniel sums up.
